The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has initiated an investigation into the brutal slaying of the investigative journalist Watson Munyaka.
Munyaka, 38, was fatally attacked in Marondera’s central business district on March 17, 2025 and lost his life in the incident.
Munyaka, an employee of Dug Up, a prominent organization dedicated to uncovering corruption and malfeasance, is suspected to have been murdered for his investigative work.
Police officers are investigating the cause of his death.
