Wicknel Chivhayo, a prominent figure in Zimbabwe, has been at the center of a security controversy after his self-appointed bodyguards were fired for abandoning their post to escort him from a menacing crowd outside a bank in Harare.
Gunner and Zvirawa were dismissed by their employer for being unprofessional after a video of them escorting Chivhayo went viral on social media.
Gwatidzo who is the manager of Safeguard confirmed that the two were dismissed for being unprofessional as their actions made it seem they were providing security to Chivhayo instead of the bank.
