The Zimbabwe military generals have rejected an offer by Mnangagwa to step down in 2028 and are pushing forward with a plan for a mass protest to be held on 31 march. The protests will results in Mnangagwa stepping down.
Speaking through videos posted on social media, military ghost accounts revealed that the protest will be compulsory and all members of the public will be required to join the protest.
The military is currently communicating through WhatsApp and social media and a formal communication team has not emerged. Without the military the transition risks getting bloodier with each passing day.
