Prominent war veteran Cde Blessed R. Geza has openly declared a stance of defiance against President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his administration.
Geza warned that if tensions escalate, veterans are prepared for a confrontation, expressing deep dissatisfaction with the current government’s treatment of former fighters.
“It must be clear to ED and his thieves that we are ready for a battle against them,” Geza stated emphatically. He continued, “If you think you are the Commander in Chief, you’re mistaken, and to hell with you.”
Geza’s statements come amid increasing tensions within Zimbabwe, where issues such as economic instability and political disenfranchisement have fueled discontent among various groups, including war veterans.
