The Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front (ZANU PF) has issued a stern statement responding to recent comments made by Blessed Geza labeling his remarks as “rogue utterances.”
The statement, released on February 5, 2025, emphasizes the party’s commitment to maintaining discipline among its ranks and addressing what it terms as detrimental behavior.
In the official communication, ZANU PF expressed its disapproval of Geza’s comments, which they argue undermine the credibility of the party and its leadership.
The statement highlighted that Geza’s remarks were reckless attempts to tarnish the reputation of the party and its members, particularly targeting the credentials of War Veterans within the organization.
The statement further outlined that ZANU PF is committed to upholding party discipline and ensuring that all members adhere to the party’s values and principles. It reassured supporters of President Emmerson Mnangagwa that the party remains united and focused on its objectives, particularly in light of the upcoming 2024 Bulawayo Conference.
The Department of Information and Publicity within ZANU PF reiterated its support for President Mnangagwa, emphasizing that the party will not tolerate any behavior that seeks to undermine its integrity or disrupt its mission for national development.
