Thousands of Zimbabwean NGO employees have been sent home after the directive by President Trump for USAID to pause all programs for 90 days.
Zimbabwe has 17 000 employees in the NGO sector. Salaries were also frozen. Nurses under the PepFar programs were also asked not to come to work. Most of the employees were asked to surrender gadgets and vehicles belonging to the NGOs.
About 1,2 million Zimbabweans are on ARVs which were being sponsored by the USAID.

Notes
I will be fully addressing this in a post. But Zimpapers really!!!! Don’t muddy the waters
ANSWER THE QUESTIONS:
1. How much is it costing the Company to pay salaries etc to 3 top Executives sent on garden leave PLUS the cost of their terminal benefits? (Bearing in mind that ZIMPAPERS staff are uneconomically paid)
2. What are the SPECIFIC reasons that these Executives were sent on Garden leave?
3. We’re there any irregularities found in the Audit report that contributed to the decision to send the Executives on garden leave OR not?
4. Is there any truth in the widely reported media reports that the Audit found broad alledged irregularities carried out by management or not?
5. Will the Zimpapers board be carrying out a forensic audit or not?
6. What about the Executive Car Scheme, was it abused or not? Again media reports speak about it’s abuse and even name one of the alledged beneficiaries of the alledged fraud (at ZTN I believe).
7. Was ZTN given USD 6 million but if standalone would be bankrupt or not?
8. After 6 years of operation and continuous losses at ZTN (see annual reports), I assume that the Zimpapers board will keep the current management in place to allededly continue losing money, so eroding shareholder value even more or is there a management restructuring coming or not?
9. Why did management allededly buy new top of the range vehicles yet denied workers, what they call, uneconomic wages?
