Walter Magaya, the leader of the controversial PHD Ministries and former operator of Yadah TV, has publicly stated that he believes he was scammed concerning his academic qualifications.

This revelation follows recent scrutiny regarding the authenticity of his educational credentials, particularly a diploma and claimed doctorate from the University of South Africa (Unisa).

In a tweet posted on his official account, Magaya asserted the legitimacy of his diploma, saying that he had  marked scripts and his student email from Unisa.

However, he admitted to being misled regarding his doctorate degree. He said that he studied day and night for his diploma.
