In a statement shared on social media, a prominent businessman has come forward to address what he describes as a systematic smear campaign aimed at discrediting his professional and political affiliations.
Chivhayo claims that the attacks stem from a mixture of personal animosity and political maneuvering by opposition groups.
In his statement, he emphasized his commitment to hard work and success, asserting that his achievements in the business world exceed the expectations set by his academic background.
Chivhayo expressed frustration with the opposition’s failure to recognize his contributions to the nation and accused them of harboring resentment. He stated, “It is well-known fact that neither the opposition party president nor its entire leadership has ever shown any interest in my endeavors.”
In an attempt to counter the claims made against him, he categorically denied any allegations of misconduct, describing them as “blatant forgeries” aimed at damaging his reputation.
He insisted that the documents circulated in the smear campaign were falsified and that he has never solicited increases in his account limits from financial institutions.
