The Deputy commissioner general Stephen Mutamba has been appointed the new commissioner general of Police.
This comes after Commissioner general Tandabantu Godwin Matanga was fired and was cited to have reached retirement age.
The new appointed Commissioner general Stephen Mutamba’s appointment will be effective as from 1 January 2025.
