Advocate Fadzayi Mahere has taken Minister Anxious Masuka into task as he was crowned best performing Minister.
Mahere said it was the responsibility of the Minister to ensure that water resources like Lake Chivero are well conserved and managed.
Mahere even asked if Minister Masuka knew his job as the Minister of Lands, Agriculture, fisheries, Water and Rural Development.
She quoted section 6(2)(b) which states that the Minister’s function is “to ensure that water resources are managed, utilized and conserved in a manner consistent with national environmental approaches provided in any enactment,”
