The former president of Zambia Michene Lungu has been declared not eligible to contest for Presidential election by the Constitutional Court.
The former President’s applications have been thrown out on the basis that he has already served two terms which according to constitution after serving two terms can no longer contest for presidency.
Questions however were raised that why is his application being thrown out now whereas before he was allowed to contest despite having served both terms.
Some however were happy as this means the end for his political career.
