Brand Ambassador and multi award winner Tariro Gezi has expressed what she meant with the post on Facebook.
Tariro Gezi received a lot of backlash after posting that girls shouldn’t rush to get married without money.
In her interview on Star FM Tariro expressed that the message was about self awareness as a woman.
She also said it was also being able to empower yourself to know what you want before rushing into marriage.
She says the backlash she received was so unexpected and she is disappointed.
“I was very disappointed… I was talking about self awareness…,”
She said the message was pointed to single ladies who were not yet married to ensure before marriage they empower themselves so they’re not ridiculed in their marriages.
