
The late and former President Robert Mugabe’s relatives have welcomed Tonderai Gabriel Mugabe.
DNA testing has confirmed that Tonderai is indeed from Mugabe’s lineage.
Tonderai has been welcomed after being recognized as the man who stormed the State House in 2015 claiming to be Mugabe’s son.
He was taken to custody were he was released on Mugabe’s behest and was told to meet Mugabe’s family in Kutama.
Chief Johaness Karigamombe young brother to the late confirmed this to The Standard when he mentioned that he knew him from his visits although nothing had been done to welcome him traditional.
Chief Johaness said that they have been some complications in accepting him into the family as some people at times claim to be Mugabe’s children for financial gain or for other reasons.
Tonderai is said to have been introduced to the family by Tete Bridget before she passed.
His case to share Robert’s estate in High Court is scheduled to be heard this week.
Bona is said to have been blocking him from receiving his rightful share.
The respondants to the case include Bona, the registrar of births and deaths and the Master of Court.
