A Zimbabwean prisoner has died after eating food that was sent to jailed former Zimbabwe deputy minister, Terence Mukupe.
Mukupe, who is seen as a close ally of General Chiwenga, was given take away food Nando’s in jail which had reportedly been sent to him by his cousin.
It has emerged that Terence Mukupe was transferred from a prison in Harare to Bulawayo after intervention of the army. Mukupe is reported to have been severely tortured after from Ziyambi Ziyambi who told prison officials that he had order from the top.
Gambakwe Media sources revealed that Mukupe is closely aligned to the military and is the one who wrote the impeachment document that saw Mugabe leaving office.
Mukupe fell out with Mnangagwa after he refused to support the plan for Mnangagwa which was hatched at a secret meeting in 2022. This resulted in his jailing on bizarre smuggling charges.
Mukupe is also said to have been accused of sleeping with Ziyambi Ziyambi’s girlfriend called Lorainne.
