ZESA owes China over 2 Billion dollars which has ballooned from 500 million. Unit 1 and 4 are always down and Unit 5 is always under repair.
Mnangagwa has been unable to repay loans used to build Hwange 7 and 8 and the Chinese are on the verge of taking over the power station. ZESA relies on Unit 7 and 8 which produces 600 MW, while Kariba produces 100MW. Not sure what’s happening to Unit 6.

Former Limpopo Premier Ngoako Ramatlhodi has been named as the first ever Bapedi Nation prime minister. He served as the first premier of Limpopo from 1994 to 2004.
According to Mampuru Sekwati from the royal family, Ramatlhodi was appointed to the position because he understands government and is an elder from the province of Limpopo.
The 69-year-old will be the mouthpiece of Her Majesty, Manyaku Thulare and the kingship of BaPedi nation.
