The interim leader of the opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC), Jameson Timba, and 34 of his supporters received suspended sentences after appearing in court earlier today.
Timba nd crew were arrested for participating in an unlawful gathering on June 16 and have remained in custody since.
Magistrate Collet Ncube also dismissed charges against 28 others, similarly citing a lack of proof of their involvement.
