In an interview just after arriving from Mexico the 2nd Lady and Miss Universe Zimbabwe Board Chairperson Mrs Minnie Baloyi Chiwenga expressed how proud she was of Miss Universe Zimbabwe Sakhile Dube.
She stated that the manner she represented Zimbabwe on the global stage showcasing Zimbabwe’s cultural heritage was remarkable.
She also expressed that everyone knew that there is a dark skinned beautiful lady in Zimbabwe.
She said that Sakhile had a bigger audience and in that audience they were international scouts which means her career has just kicked off.
Sakhile Dube made it to top 30 and missed a bit on top 12. She received immense support all over the country especially on social media.
