Botswana opposition leader Duma Gideon Boko of the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) coalition says he is humbled to be declared new leader of Botswana.
Boko was sworn in as President at the High Court, today.
Duma won the country’s presidential election, effectively ending 58years of the Democratic Party’s rule (BDP).
Addressing the nation for the first time after winning, Boko said he is humbled’ adding that he will do the very best.
