WATCH LIVE as Gambakwe sources have exclusively revealed that former deputy finance Minister, Terence Mukupe, was moved to Bulawayo’s Khami prison after two attempts to poison him at the Harare prison where he was being held.

Terence Mukupe, a Zimbabwean politician, was arrested in June 2022 on charges and was sentenced to 36 months in prison in November 2022. He is set to be released before November 2025.

Today i am in New Delhi at the World Telecommunications Standardisation Assembly which is being attended by Doreen Bogdan-Martin the ITU Secretary General, Mr Seizo Onoe the ITU Director Telecommunications Standards, Dr Cosmas Zavazava the ITU Director Telecommunication Development Bureau as well as Mario Maniewicz ITU Director Radiocommunication Bureau​. The global symposium will deal with various issues including Artificial Intelligence. The WTSA24 will deal with standards affecting digital inclusion in the telecommunications sector such as the impact of 5G and the transformative power of standardized innovation. The WTSA will be officially opened tomorrow by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.

Zimbabwe is expected to contribute to the discussions on various standards and to also learn how other nations are regulating disruptive technologies such as Artificial Intelligence with Zimbabwe already working on coming up with an Artificial Intelligence Policy.
