Cameroon’s interior minister Paul Atanga Nji has banned the media from reporting on President Paul Biya’s the health issues.

This follows the disappearance of the 91-year-old President from the public since early September leading to speculations of his death.

Minister Nji imposed the ban, prohibiting debate on the leader’s health.

He said discussions on the health of the president were a matter of national security adding that anyone violating the order would “face the full force of the law”.
