Gogo Chiwenga, aunt to Vice President Constantino Chiwenga was laid to rest yesterday at Chigondo Village in Hwedza.
Multitudes thronged the homestead to celebrate the life of the departed centenarian.
VP Chiwenga, his wife Miniyothabo and other government officials, ZANU PF attended the funeral.
Gogo Chikata passed away at the age of 102.
VP Chiwenga reflected on her strong faith and commitment to the church, noting that her 100th birthday was celebrated in a church setting in 2022.
