Bulawayo Town Clerk Christopher Dube has stepped down after his four-year contract expired on the 31st of September.
Sikhangele Zhou will be acting town clerk until Dube’s successor is selected.
The announcement was made by Acting City Mayor Councillor Edwin Ndlovu.
Ndlovu said efforts to extend Dube’s contract, approval from the Local Government Board was not obtained in time.
