A Zimbabwean man identified as Wilson Tanhoya has succumbed to injuries after being burnt by police in South Africa last week.

Tanhonya who was admitted in a SA Hospital died yesterday. News of his death was confirmed by his uncle Govarthy.

He was one of the victims of the incident where the army and police allegedly poured inflammable liquid and set alight an area where illegal miners had sought refuge to escape arrest, leading to the death of nearly a dozen of them.

Expressing great disappointment about the South African government the victims uncle could not help it but just cry.
