Three jailed pro-democracy activists, Namatai Kwekweza, Robson Chere and Samuel Gwenzi have been released from prison on US$150 bail each.

Their bail conditions include reporting to the police every last Friday of month, not interferring with state witnesses and should reside at given addresses.

Commenting in their release the opposition politician, Fadzayi Mahere says their release is not something to be celebrated highlighting thar they shouldnt have been abducted tortured and jailed in the first place

They were arrested last week at the Robert Mugabe International Airport at a time when the regime was arresting opposition members in numbers ahead if the SADC summit.
