Chief Dendera is accused of working with a top ZANU-PF official and an army colonel to oppose the project. Community against Karoi cement plant as the community believes the project will pollute the Kemureza dam. The project will affect the 1000 karoi residents in the Magunje Hospital, 2-3 Infantry Battalion, Kemureza irrigation scheme.
