Tyla, a South African Afrobeats pop star, won two awards at the BET Awards 2024, including Best New Artist and Best International Act.
She dedicated her wins to Africa and African artists who paved the way for her success.
Fellow South African artist Makhadzi also took home the BET Viewers’ Choice: Best International Act award.
