Sandra Ndebele, a Zanu-PF councilor and prominent musician, allegedly had her Toyota GD6 vehicle seized by Bulawayo police due to lack of proper documentation, suggesting smuggling.
The incident follows a crackdown on smuggled vehicles in Zimbabwe and South Africa.
Ndebele, who received a luxury vehicle from controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo in February, did not respond to inquiries.
