President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s spokesman George Charamba has described Zambia President Hakainde Hichilema as a “sellout.”
Charamba took to X to post a picture of Hichilema standing with Americans captioned: “Chimutengesi”.
This comes after President Emmerson Mnangagwa accused Zambia and Malawi of allowing the United States to set up military bases threatening the region’s security.
Meanwhile, Zambia has pleaded with AU and SADC to intervene between the two countries before the relations are strained.
