United States President Joe Biden welcomed Kenyan President William Ruto to the White House on Thursday for a state visit.

Ruto becomes the first African leader in more than 15 years to make an official state visit to the US.

Biden pledged new partnerships on technology, security and debt relief to Ruto.

Ruto was accompained by his was and three daughters. A stunning state dinner was held and a number of prominent guests were in attendance including Barrack Obama.
