The former CCC deputy spokesperson, Gift Ostallos Siziba walked out of a Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Union(ZCTU) rally after it’s president, Florence Taruvinga endorsed Mnangagwa’s “Nyika Inovakwa Nevene Vayo” mantra.
Many workers also followed Ostallos citing that they had not endorsed Mnangagwa as their President since the 2023 disputed elections and also accused Taruvinga of selling the struggle.
Upon being interviewed, Ostallos said by walking away from the venue he didn’t anticipate that many workers would also follow him and leave the event.
