Zimbabweans have bemaoned the country’s disaster managment organs after the army was called in to rescue the Mutare-Masvingo highway accident victims without proper equipment.
Six people were killed in a tragic accident when a haulage truck reportedly lost its brakes and smashed a parked car.

The accident occurred along the Mutare-Masvingo highway when a haulage truck collided with the Mazda BT50.
Four passengers died on the spot, while another person succumbed to injuries on the way to Victoria Chitepo Provincial Hospital. The sixth person died upon admission to the hospital.
According to a police statement, the driver fled the scene on foot.
