The Herald reports that police on Saturday shot and killed one of the suspects involved in last week’s armed robbery in Southerton.
There was an exchange of gunfire in Chitungwiza’s Unit A suburb leading to the killing of one of the suspects.
The suspect died in hospital from injuries sustained in the shootout with police detectives.
This comes after the Southerton robbery incident went viral on social media platforms and people demanded that the robbers be brought to book.
