President Mnangagwa has approved a budget of USD 5 Million for the soon to be held by-elections after the recall of CCC MPs and senators by impostor, Sengezo Tshabangu.
Sengezo Tshabangu recalled 9 elected CCC MPs, 6 Proportional representative MPs and 9 Senators and 17 councillors. He is set to recall more MPs, senators and councillors.
The money has been made available to the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission. Nomination court will sit from Tuesday 7 November for the By-elections which will be held on 9 December
Affected constituencies will include:
Beitbridge West
Binga North
Bulawayo South
Cowdray Park
Lobhengula-Magwegwe
Lupane East
Mabvuku-Tafara
Mpopoma Mzilikazi
Nketa
Gutu West
Each of the MP candidates will be required to pay USD 1000 as a nomination fee.
