Bulawayo Mayor David Coltart has mocked President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa for literally addressing empty chairs at the 78th edition of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) this afternoon.
Taking to social media, Coltart said: “No Chicken Inn in New York & a big problem getting 500 buses across the Atlantic.”
The auditorium had less than 40 delegates and most of them seemed to be part of his own traveling team.
In his address, Mnangagwa stressed that it is important for nations to work together to strengthen international institutions for the accelerated attainment of Agenda 2030.
