The anonymous landlord of a rented house occupied by CCC President, Nelson Chamisa, has been forced to evict his party officials after being haunted by state agents.

The Belvedere house is being rented out by Chamisa and his team for $1800 per month.

After constant harassment by state agents, the landlord has evicted Chamisa’ s team.

Court papers seen by Gambakwe Media stated:

We represent the owners of number 10 Beal road, Belvedere, Harare. We are advised by our clients that sometime in May 2023, you entered an verbal agreement in which you were to lease the main house excluding the main bedroom for $1800USD.

The court papers served by MDM Attorneys, claimed that Chamisa was in arrears for the ridiculous amount of $200 for the months of July and August, after having paid over $10 000 since May.

Analysts revealed that fearful landlords resort to evicting the CCC from its rented offices to avoid problems associated with being labeled as Chamisa sympathizers.

In the past, the CCC has failed to hold its press conferences after state agents threatened venue owners.
