Namibian President Hage Gottfried Geingob has congratulated Emmerson Mnangagwa for winning the presidential election in the just ended polls.
Mnangagwa, won a second term with 52.6 percent against Nelson Chamisa with 44 percent, according to official results announced late Saturday by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC).
Taking to Twitter, Hage said: “I extend warmest congratulations to Mnangagwa on his re-election as President of Zimbabwe”.
He also congratulated ZANU PF, Namibia’s sister party on the victory in the harmonised elections.
