Former Senator David Coltart has apologised to Professor Jonathan Moyo over his remarks about late Melusi Job Mlevu who was brutally killed by the Fifth Brigade.
This follows Moyo’s long letter protesting Coltart’s reference to his father’s murder while accusing him of always sympathising with with Zanu-PF.
Melusi Mlevu was murdered by the state-sponsored Fifth Brigade – during the Gukurahundi massacres on 12 January 1983.
Taking to Twitter, Moyo said Coltart has apologised and he has accepted th gentlemanly conduct.
“Subsequent to my tweet yesterday re: @DavidColtart ‘s tweet the previous day referencing my father, David has apologised through my DM and I have accepted his gentlemanly conduct in doing so!”, said Moyo.
