UFC fighter Themba Gorimbo has revealed that sports minister Kirsty Coventry banned him from having a Zimbabwean flag on his kit.
Gorimbo won a fight against Japan Takashi Sato on Saturday at UFC Vegas 73.
In a post on Instagram, Magorimbo said he was made to represent another country, South Africa.
“So I have to let all go and move on. I hate to say this but it hurts me that my country’s sports minister wouldn’t approve me to have Zim flag on my kit. I had to represent another country and glad it was South Africa.”
