President Emmerson Mnangagwa received 18 medical, air policing and search and rescue helicopters from Russia yesyerday.
He received the helicopters at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport in Harare.
The helicopters are part of the Government’s public private partnership with the Russian Federation.
The price tag quickly came under the spotlight after a Zanu PF-linked Twitter handle claimed that 32 helicopters have been purchased, including those yet to be supplied, and will cost US$320 million.
