Newly appointed Zimbabwe Business Ambassador to the Middle East Mahomed Jassat has condemned the Gold Mafia documentary.
Speaking to Ezra Tshisa Sibanda at ZITF, Jassat said the Gold Mafia documentary is a sensationalised piece of journalism.
He said there is no gold smuggling taking place in Zimbabwe instead gold is sold through proper channels to the country’s trading partners.
He added that the documentary is aimed at potraying President Mnangagwa in a bad way as the country prepares for general elections.
