Eswatini Human Rights Lawyer, Thulani Maseko was shot dead in Eswatini in front of his wife and kids yesterday. He was the chairman of the multi stakeholder forum.
Speaking on SABC, Prof Ibbo Mandaza said Maseko was known for his activism and defence of human rights. Mandaza said Maseko was part of the people who were on the list of people who were regarded as enemies by the Eswatini government.
Mandaza said it is to be concluded that the hitmen who killed Maseko were state sponsored.
Mandaza called upon SADC to intervene as what is happening in Eswatini is worrisome.
