Zimbabwe President, Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa today met with his Zambian counterpart Hakainde Hichilema.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the SADC 42nd Ordinary Summit of Heads of State in DRC.
Writing on his Facebook page, President Hichilema said:
Held seperate bilateral meetings with Their Excellencies Mr. Emerson Mnangagwa and Dr. Lazarus Chakwera Presidents of Zimbabwe and Malawi respectively.
Our meetings with both Heads of State centred around matters of mutual interest affecting our respective countries and how we can improve and enhance trade among our countries that will benefit our citizens and the whole SADC region.
We touched on matters of transport, energy and border reforms that will enhance productivity and competitiveness.
