Rumors of General Chiwenga being admitted at Harare Hospital with food poisoning were spreading across the city yesterday.
VP Chiwenga has denied being admitted at the Trauma Centre Borrowdale private hospital for a surgery to correct some discomfort in his stomach.
Chiwenga is said to have arrived at the Trauma Centre in Borrowdale just before 3PM in a six-vehicle convoy.
He said he was there to see equipment and new ideas because his brother wants to do open heart surgery.
