Popular award winning Zimbabwean journalist,  Hopewell Chin’ono has left Zimbabwe for South Africa where he will be seeking treatment for an undisclosed condition.

Writing on his popular social media platforms,  Chin’ono simply shared the picture of a plane wing with the caption Gwaan.

Chin’ono will also use the opportunity to present at the Desmond Tutu foundation.

The  foundation shared the following.

Zimbabwean journalist and activist for justice, Hopewell Chin’ono continues to expose the truth at the expense of his own freedom.

Driven by a clear understanding of what is right and what is just, Hopewell stands resolute in spite of the oppression he endures.
