WATCH LIVE as Gambakwe Media looks at the latest news that Welshman Ncube has left the MDC Alliance and is planning to join POLAD.
According to two reports from Newsday, the MDC-N’s Faruoh Jele, the national disciplinary committee chairperson, told the newspaper that the party still exists. He said according to the Supreme court ruling, the MDC Alliance is not a political party but an Alliance of political parties.
Jele was speaking after suspedning four officials, who he accused of secretly meeting with MDC-T officials
The four suspended officials are Christopher Monera, Shipikai Mandaza, Munhangu Musevenzo and Gift Kurupati.
In another report, Newsday reported that Welshman Ncube has left the MDC Alliance citing the following reasons:
- Continous fights between Chamisa and Biti.
- Heavy infiltration and influence of the party by G40.
- Lack of progress on dialogue.
In her response, Fadzai Mahere said all these reports are false and said ZANU-PF is using ghost accounts and fake news sites to spread falsehood about the party.
