The government of Botswana has arrested and detained controversial rapper, Ozi F Teddy, after he released a hard hitting song critical of the government last week.
Ozi F Teddy is reportedly being held at Thamaga Police Station.
“I was arrested this morning and I’ve been told to wait for Broadhurst Police officers who are looking for me,” he told The Voice newspaper.
Botswana police have refused to comment on Ozi F Teddy’s arrest.
