The father of the two sisters who were shot in Gweru on Thursday night in a love triangle dispute , Nyasha Nharingo (31) and Nyaradzo Nharingo (34), has confirmed that the shooter, Peter Dube (35), paid lobola for Nyasha two weeks ago.
Mr Ishmael Nharingwa told the Chronicle newspaper that Dube paid lobola to him for Nyasha two weeks ago.
Nyasha was also dating Dube’s friend, Shelton, who was a gold dealer.
Dube, who is on the run, shot Nyasha, Nyaradzo, Shelton Chinhango and Gamu Mudungwe at 2AM on Thursday, at the flat which he was renting for Nyasha.
Gamu and Shelton died at the scene, while Nyaradzo died in the ICU on Friday.
Dube, who owns a car sales business in Gweru , is also married to Justina Nomatter Chawana (30).
Gambakwe Media sources revealed that although he is on the run, Dube was answering his phone and is expected to hand himself to the police soon.
