Did you know that popular Netflix series Bridgeton actor, Rege-Jean Page (30), grew up in Zimbabwe and only left the Harare when he was 16 in 2006?
Page was born in London and has both Zimbabwean and UK citizenship.
Page is now one of the most well recognized faces in the world with fans now saying he will be a future James Bond!
Page went to scholl in Harare before he moved to London. His father was an English priest in Harare, while his mother was a local nurse.
He says growing up as mixed race in Harare made him an outsider. When he was young, he formed a band with his brothers, but refuses to say what the band was called!
Jean page’s relationship status is not clear as he does not share his private life on social media.
Page said he can speak the language of his mother’s relatives, Shona, which he learnt from her relatives in the villages.
He graduated in BA in Acting after moving to London and has had roles in films such as roots and Harry Potter.
