MDC Alliance Vice Chairman, Job Sikhala, today visited popular journalist, Hopewell Chin’ono, at the Harare Magistrate’s court, where he was appearing for ‘communicating falsehoods’.
Sikhala and Chin’ono both revealed that the law under which Hopewell was being charged was struck of the laws of Zimbabwe by the Constitutional court.
Chin’ono also revealed that he was being criminally persecuted by politicians who don’t want him to talk about corruption.
He said he saw paperwork at the police station that showed that police also wanted to pick up Sikhala under the same charge.
