South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa, has today responded to a tweet by ZANUPF communications director, Tafadzwa Mugwadi.
Speaking during an address to journalists, Ramaphosa said he sent the ANC delegation to Zimbabwe to find out facts on the ground and for no other reason.
The response by Ramaphosa comes after Tafadzwa Mugwadi angrily tweeted that he will seek permission from Mnangagwa to reveal the reason why Ramaphosa sent the ANC delegation to Zimbabwe.
Ibbo Mandaza, an executive director at SAPES trust, said Mugwadi is not the official ZANU-PF spokesman and has been censored before.
Mandaza said now that Ramaphosa has responded to Mugwadi’s statement, Mnangagwa will have to respond either publicly or in private and bring Mugwadi into line.
